Camden bottoms teal

Just thought I would pass this along.
We were dove hunting yesterday and in the first hour of daylight we saw several groups of teal buzzing around.

IF all the groups we saw were not duplicates of the same group we saw upwards of 200.
Of course we saw probably 30 woodies as well.

Another odd thing was we saw two different groups of 20-30 big ducks.
I figured they were residents but I have never seen that many together, they are usually in much smaller groups.

Anyway, if you hunt in the area you might very well have a good shoot next weekend.

I was on the Mississippi catfishing yesterday and saw a flock of about 100 teal. They are definitely around and should be a good hunt when the season opens.

I saw a flock of 50+ high migrators yesterday morning myself

Hoping they don't head on south with the front later this week.

We never saw a feather, let alone a bird. Had a real nice willow blind on an island, just never had any birds come by to appreciate it.
