Hey guys I just wanted to know if any of you had attempted to build your own bow? My father-in-law has got me into bow hunting but I still use "training wheels" (i guess that is what yall call em)and have only hunted with a bow for few years now still no kill don't seem to get a lot of time to hunt. Anyways he is fixin to start to try and build some youth bows for grandsons and I thought I would see if any of you had experience in making bows so if he had a question I would know who to get in touch with.

BJ, if you will go to Tradgang and converse with Pappy {Mark Bagget} and the singing bowyer {chad slagel] they can help you out a bunch. they are giving a seminar are our upcoming TTAS banquet in March.

At the TTAS banquet in March we plan to have a flint-knappers area for knappers. That will basically go on all day. If you knap or want to learn bring some flint and some tools!

The TTAS banquet will be March 15, 2008 at the Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville, TN.
