So, Chad, are you saying that the magazine loads the cartridge into the chamber, but when you pull the trigger, you just hear the click of the firing pin, but no 'bang,' right?

Just asking, because .22 ammo is notorious for misfirings. Have you tried different types of ammo?

The bumper would be a problem if the gun wasn't cycling correctly. I'd check the pin, maybe the springs, but it may still be under warranty.

Also, and this is a long shot, but is it clean? One time a guy had problems with the gun firing, and it turned out that the chamber was so crudded up that it was actually cushioning the cartridge enough that the gun wouldn't fire.
 
I've heard of people having trouble with certain types of ammo. Mine eats the remington 550 bulk packs without any problems. I would try some some different ammo and see if it helps.

Did you pull the firing pin out of the slide when you cleaned it.I did have problems like you descibe shooting federal bulk ammo.
