I am reducing the price of the package deal by $200 to $1100.

Selling my 338 WM. I've never hunted with it and only been to the range to sight in and tune the boss with hand loads. Shot about 40 times. The gun is flawless, not a scratch. The scope came off another gun and it has mounting scratches shown but works perfectly and glass is perfect. It comes with what you see. The scope is a Leupold Var-X iii 4.5 -14 x 50 AO with fine plex reticle. I've worked up a hand load with a 250g Swift A-Frame bullet and a box of handloads and some extra components come with it. I've shot a 3/4 MOA group I can show you at 100 yds. The trigger has been honed by a gunsmith to 3 1/4 lbs. It's LH as you can see. This is a sweet rifle I'm reluctant to sell but wanting to get into long range shooting. I need to sell something. The package is $1,300 or gun only $950 or scope $350 if the gun sells. I have more pics if you want to send a PM. I'm in Germantown. Cash vs delivery only!

You just saved me some money with it being a lefty

There aren't many guns you can buy that are LH, except some Brownings. It's nice to have that option if you shoot that way. Thanks for looking.

Fiarchaser, you should keep it for your moose hunt. It is perfect.

I agree bull moose! If it don't sell for sure as a backup. I also have a 300 win mag in a Browning Abolt Medallion that I love and would be ample for moose with a little more range. But the 338 would definitely knock one down.

Just wondering, but why isn't the .338 WinMag capable of shooting long range for you fairchaser? You must have something else already lined up?

It is Mup, but at the time I was building a long range F class rifle to shoot in 600 yard matches. This rifle is a hunting gun that is certainly capable of making very long shots but it's not a rifle you would shoot 80 shots in a match. I've also got a 300 win mag I will use for hunting large game at long distances. This rifle has just become a safe queen taking up space and not sure when I would use it to hunt.

I'd like to use the money to upgrade a scope on another rifle. Thanks for looking.

Cool. If it was a rt handed model I might have thought about possibly getting it. ;)
