Bright, Colorful Calls?

Deer see different colors than we do, but they can see your face glowing from the natural oils in your skin

They don't seem to mind my oily face then. They'll walk right up on me squirrel hunting provided I'm down wind of them.

I do, too. You can look right at the birds without worrying about "moon face."

Either face paint or keeping your head down are good solutions to the problem of pie-facing.

But when if there's no "hole" because you're not hunting out of a traditional box blind, face paint lets you still spot ducks without flaring them.
