Bout time to fish

Don't know about the wind yet but Thursday and Friday sure do look good for fishing so far.
Saturday is good too but I won't be able to fish very long.
Might have to take a day or two of vacation this week.
I'm ready to put a beat down on something.

Got a buddy wanting to crappie fish in the backwater at the pumphouse.
I might try that one day soon.
I figure they should be in there as they aren't quite ready to spawn yet.

I just call in sick,when i tell them im sick they say dont catch to many fish nowthey have me figured out

Sometimes i dont even call in,by the union contract they cant do anything unless we havent called in in 3 days

Crappie done spawned and moved back to deeper water. You a day late and a dollar short.

Probally right in backwater,i hardly ever fish backwater.On ky lake some have spawned,but most havent,probally will i the next week or so.

I haven't seen mail lake temps in the 60's yet. Still catching them in 8-10' south of Cuba. We have caught some males in 2-3' but females were hung up

some folks tend to think fish a lot sooner than they actually do. although birdsong tends to get warmer before any of the other creeks. ive caught spawning fish at the end of march.

Been a crummy week for me so far (trip to the ER with my father, sickness for me, etc.) Boss told me earlier today, either go turkey hunting or fishing on Friday. I'd better not see you online. Love workin for that fella. Best boss I've ever had.
