A local guy mounted this bobcat for a guy at work.

my thoughts are that bobcats must be THE MOST difficult mount to pull off. With that said, that is definitely a good example of why I think that. I would be pizzzed if it were mine. I'm fortunate enough to have a beautiful bobcat on my wall even though I did not kill it.

It appears to be an altered form. Beautiful work though, I know a guy in Montana that mounts hundreds of cats (african, mountain, bob, etc). He is top notch and a true artist.

WOW...that's really bad looking bobcat. I had a buck i killed a few years back that looked about like that. made the guy redo it. he wasn't happy but in the end, the difference was huge.

Here's a bobcat i killed just across the state line in VA last year. Just got it back last month. Had him mounted just like he was when i shot him.
