Bluebill mallard LOL

Buddy of mine killed this one two years ago.
Nothing on the bird looked like anything but a mallard.
I told him he should mount it.
He said, "I thought about it but I think I will just get one I already have mounted and get the bill painted." LOL

Just thought I would share this as I ran by it looking for a different picture today.

Kind of looks like it has Pintail in its family tree. Maybe 1/4 or 1/8 Pintail.

The bill is the same color as a Pintail drake.

Yep that was my thoughts.

Neat looking bird. So long as it's not shot up too much I'd be mounting it I know that much
