Blowing Fusses like Crazy.

My daughter has a 99 cavalier and while it's setting there running for about 10 min it will blow the fuel pump fuse. Put a new one in and about 10 min same thing.Any idea's?

Change the relay thats in the under the hood fuse/relay box and try again. If this does not fix it, your in for a fuel pump replacement.

check the ground wire too to the fuel pumpif it is loose and arcing it will blow a fuse just a thought

Good catch!! Had a starter acting up, Two of the brush posts were lose and caused a no start issue from bad contact.

Put in a new fuel pump no more blowen fuses. thanks for all the info.
