Black deer??

I don't know if the cold weather has changed the color of my deer or if some new ones have moved into my yard... but I've got about 4 does that are almost black... have not seen this before..??

Come spring likely now will be a bunch of red wetback deer showing up

I saw a couple of deer several years ago that I would describe as jet black. To this day, I'm convinced that what I saw was melanistic deer.
