Re: Best invention

I have the 2nd best invention for a warm car in the morning. An attached garage. As far as I know, our garage has never gotten below freezing. Lots of insulation.
We keep water out there and it has never come close to freezing, as far as we can tell.

It's amazing how much different it makes a car feel having it inside a garage compared to outside.

Yeah but they won’t approve my budget request to build one in the parking lot at work

Install a gas fired heater in your garage:) Set the wall mounted thermostat to the desired temperature and enjoy.

Re: Best invention

Love the remote start on my Jeep. I will start it about 5-6 minutes before I head out of the office for lunch and it is nice and toasty when I hop inside. At home it stays in the garage which was 50 degrees this morning while it was a brisk 5 outside.

Yeah, I don't enjoy getting in my cold vehicle after work. You're right, a remote start would be better for that!

Re: Best invention

My 22RE was a little rough to start this morning, had to crank it twice, everything was slow to move, even the gear shifter. Got it warmed up and ran just fine.

Re: Best invention

You talking modern inventions or any invention??

To me the best invention of all time is the printing press.

As of this morning it has to be the little buddy heater. Kept me warm and able to hunt this morning in the lower teens.
