Looks like I will be using a crossbow for this season. I would like to shoot a fixed blade broadhead. What have some of you guys shot that performed well for you? I watched a video on YouTube shooting Magnus Stinger Buzzcuts they shot well.

For many years I shot Muzzys, and was very happy with them. They are good heads. I switched to Slick Tricks because they produced tighter groups for me. Both are good.

Should add, went from a 3-blade Muzzy to a 4-blade Slick Trick.

Be aware that if you have an xbow that approaches 400 fps, you need to use mechanical broadheads. Fixed do not fly true at those speeds. I was just reading this in a hunting magazine and wasn't aware of that...I use NAP 125 grain.

I don't have any complaints on the Parker Red Hot broadheads....they shoot great in mine at a chrono'd 328 fps.

Have worked great on the deer I've shot with them...complete penetration, good blood trail, dead deer with 50 yards.

That same head is available under another name...but right now I can't remember what it is.
