All 3 are with TSS #9 (Hal's Stubby XL load). None of these excite me. Not sure if I'll tinker with chokes/loads some more, or leave this in the safe for turkey season.

TruLock .571 ... bottom barrel
I should have moved the circle a little left. Point of impact is low and pattern is too scattered.

Carlson's .575 ... bottom barrel
Respectable pattern, but point of impact is also low.

Primos Tightwad .579 ... top barrel
Pattern is way too dense.

All would get the job done if POI were corrected, albeit none are very impressive in the big picture. I think the answer is working your trigger where you can fire both barrels at once.... :) Thanks for sharing.

Yall are friggin SPOILED! I remember hunting with a 12 ga 3" Mossberg 500 with a non screw in choke barrel, modified, and only getting 85 to 90 in the 10". It was all I could afford at the time with 2 small kids, a wife, a house payment, and 2 old worn out vehicles. I couldn't buy a fancy 870 so I had to go to Howard Brothers and put a $129 gun on layaway and pay on it for months before getting it out. Guess what? It still killed birds.
