Benelli shotgun owners question.

I have a benelli m2 tactical shogun. I just tricked it out. For some reason it will not cycle. Any help would be awesome.

Only issues ive seen on the internet, are shells getting jammed midway from magazine tube to the chamber , like stuck half way. And its from the shell lifter being a little bent or twisted.

I didnt shoot before modifying it. I knew I should have.

I drop one in the and fill the tube. The gun fires but fails to eject. I have to manually eject it.

Have you oiled the crap out of it? Bought my wife a Benelli, didn’t read manual and took it shooting. Wouldn’t cycle for nothing. Read the manual, threw the rem oil to it and it hasn’t missed a lick since.

Is it new or used? If it’s a used gun I would say the return spring in the butt stock needs to be replaced.

I agree with the above about the Spring. I had one that did the same thing with light loads and it ended up being the spring.

That’s what I was saying in my post. Didn’t follow break in and it wouldn’t cycle. Followed break in, runs like a scalded dog.
