Found a tiny crack in one of the limbs of my old reliable C5, so she's done. Unfortunately for me I'd already ordered a new set of cables and string. Free for the asking if anyone needs them, p/u in Fayette County or I'll mail them to you.

Was this failure as you pulled the trigger? Glad you are ok mostly

Yes, it broke when I fired it! I actually still hit the buck but not sure where because I never found him. My xbow was fairly old (over 10 years) and myself and son have killed several deer with it over the years so I'm not knocking it. Just hate that it broke when it did!
