ATV Gun Rack Question

My buddy got a 2013 Polaris 400 Sportsman ATV for this 50th birthday. I gave him a double gun rack to go on it. I'm used to the old ATVs with the bar racks on the front and back. Looking at his last night, there are no bars. It's like big pieces of plastic that lift up and open into compartments.

So how can you put or screw on the double gun/bow racks if there are no bars to screw it on? Do they go on somewhere else? I don't have the ATV or gun rack in front of me to visualize the answer. I know the rack doesn't fit to attach on the handlebars.

What am I missing? Thanks tons.

Put the Polaris front extender rack on the front box then mount the gun rack to it.

Interesting. I just looked it up and saw pictures. I assume this wouldn't come with the new ATV and is an accessory you'd have to purchase. Thanks for the answer.

Here you go GIL1, mine is a 500 HO with the front rack extension, I have the front rack to hold a bow and the double gun racks for the rifles. Hope this helps!

I have seen people mount them to the lid by drilling holes in it.
