Attacked by a vicious gang of oysters!!

Back in November we were in some skinny water after reds in SC. The trolling motot took us into deeper water , the skag was not dragging, but as soon as I started the engine and engaged the throttle all HELLO broke loose around my prop!!!

Got my prop back today from EAST TN PROPELLAR off Cherry St in K'town. It looks brand new! Very pleased

I think I'm going to have to go to a 21P. I can spin this 19T 15 1/4 to the rev limiter... but unloaded. Gonna run it when the boat is loaded to make sure.

Capt. Chris took my prop over there. He laughed when I showed him mine. He said you think that is bad, look at this one!! Apparently these guys can fix a sheared blade!! Crazy!

My son ran a rock hopper on our motor when he lived in Fl. The same I used on the White River when it was low. Oyster beds can be bad as those big rocks.
