Arrg Shoulder Pain

Trust me.....Get it checked out and don't do what I did and try to shoot through the pain with otc meds--doing so puts your archery shooting in jeopardy and can really risk damaging something that may take months or a year plus to heal.

Yep I was going crazy this week but me and the boys have been slaying the hand sized bluegill in the neighborhood ponds.

It's going on day 5 without shooting. My poor Rineharts are sitting in my yard looking so sad lol

I will go to the doctor.

Tried to fight through shoulder pain for close to a year before the last tournament I shot - FITA nationals in 2010. Did enough damage that year to end me for good. Be careful UTG or you'll end up playing golf all the time like me.

Thank you Jay. I hope you are doing well...and your golf game :D

Yeah I'm accepting this might be time for a break. I'm having to take more ibuprofen than I've ever had before in my life. I do have one of those exercise bands Dee Falks gave me with a loop. I can still practice shooting my hinge with the exercise band.

Yep this sucks.

listen to Tndeerguy.... man I hope I don't ever end up with shoulder problems. Can't imagine not bow hunting, at least for deer in the early season.

are they those big hybrid bluegills? Seen any good size grass carp?

Yep this will be my biggest set back yet. Pain is still there...will be seeing the doctor soon but archery is definitely out for now.

Hopefully will be back to blank bale with my hinge soon!

I hurt my shoulder years ago . I lift weights to keep in shape , but rest is the best route to recovery .
I have found that I shoot better when I don't shoot as often . Resting my shoulders helped .
