Just looked at the season dates and was wondering if there is a typo or actually a change. It shows it opening on September 28 ( Sunday ) and closing on October 23 ( Thursday ). And opening back up on October 26 ( Sunday ) Also the first young sportsman hunt is October 24-25 ( Friday-Saturday ).

I don't know where you got those dates, but all are incorrect. The proper dates are in Proclamation 14-03. All statutes, Rules and Regulations, and Proclamations may be accessed off of the TWRA website at the bottom left of the home page.
 
It is on twra.org, for hunters, 2014-15 seasons and regulations. I have the page pulled up right now. Shows the same for unit A, B, & L. Just bringing it up cause most people like myself read the guide for dates, rules, and regulations. not trying to start nothing but reading thru a bunch of proclamations and codes and annotations if you can find the correct one although is very useful can also be confusing at times. Just trying to be helpful, could cause some issues if it makes it to print and the public gets ahold of it as far as shooting deer out of season and such.
 
I let BGG know. I don't know which division handles the posting of the dates on the website. Thanks for letting us know!

The Hunting Guide, etc. has the legal disclaimer that it is not a legal document. The legal documents are the Proclamations. It is correct in the Proclamation.
