Anyone know about “colts man” rifles

My father in law has an old colts man rifle in 30/06 and it's actually in very good condition still. I wasn't even aware colt made such rifles but can't seem to find much about them online

I've attached a few photos. Was hoping someone here may know more about them.

Made on FN or Sako action depending on caliber...very nice well made rifles...that rifle is a FN made in Belgium from the proofs and being a long action for 30/06...

I have one of the one year only Colt rifles.
Its the precursor to the Coltsman..
"The Colt 57" built on a Belgium FN action
