A post was made a few days ago about a duck hunting guide and conversation came up about a tndeer duck hunting trip for the 2018-2019 season. We talked about a Tennessee, Missouri, or Arkansas hunt and just want to get opinions on who would be interested and where you would want to go. If we keep it in TN you TN boys wouldn't have to buy the out of state license and I'm seeing rates from $150-$200 a day for the TN hunts. MO and AR we're looking at higher costs. But let's get everyone's opinions and go from there.

If you're interested post on here and tell if you'll have a guest and if so how many, also add your opinion on keeping it in state or going across the line to MO or AR. In state we're probably looking in the West to NW part around the Reelfoot or Dyersburg areas but that all can change with everyone's opinions.

I think this would be a great trip to hang out and get to know everyone and hopefully get to kill something besides a deer!!

As of right now we have these members interested:

I have never officially duck hunted. Do a little goose floating / hunting each year down the river.
I would be interested for a TN trip / hunt with my son.
I can shoot at duck....can't hit them.......but I enjoy pulling the trigger.

Keep me posted.

I’d be in again and can bring a dog or two if need be...
Kimber puppies were made last week, so if you’re still waiting the countdown has begun! I’m keeping first pick male

I am open for anything really but if we want to hunt in state, I agree with reelfoot or dyersburg.

Of course I'm in. :) I need to contact a friend to see if he wants to go. I would prefer in-state, but I'm flexible on that.

This has turned out far different than I expected. I was wanting a couple of suggestions and that has evolved into what may be a real fun time and adventure.

TNDeer is awesome. :D :D :D

Out of curiosity, I went ahead and contacted Matt Barnett with wekillducks just to see how many people he could accommodate. He can do 4-6 so that one might be outta the question unless it’s the same at most places and we have to split groups. That would be in the dyersburg area

I'd be interested. At this point it looks like the problem could be too many people!

I'd be fine with in or out of state.

May have to book a few different outfitters. I don't see that being a problem though there are several that hunt the same waters and we could all stay in the same hotel or house, etc.
