I hope that is only half of it. Don't look quite wide enough. A boat hide might help with stability some, but it will have to be in the front.

I have seen a few places that the blind measurements are 24'x10' with a 7-8ft wide boat hide. It seems on the small side. Also seen several people saying there is not enough flotation for 8 people, gear and add on the weight of brush. I would guess the weight could almost double on a rainy day or heavy snow or ice covered blind.

If you put 8 big guys on the rail with it built like that, It would seem like it could be a bit unstable. Personally, I'd put the boat hide on the other side, so the weight distribution is more to the middle of the blind. It may not make a lot of difference, but that is how we've always built ours unless there were a lot of extra weight on the back wall to offset it.

They have also burned blinds at Reelfoot resulting in charred, scorched, or possibly dead cypress trees. Damaging these trees is against the law and us normal folks would be charged. TWRA should be reminded that no one is above the law and maybe someone should consult the proper authorities.

Plenty of floation. also boat hide float, plus roof over boat hide will counter hunters weight. When standing, they will still be well inside box. I have a 28 ft floater, shoots 8 men. built much like this. You cant even make it move. Full of weight, brush, it never seems to change depth of floats, loaded or not. Each one of those floats will probably carry around 600 lbs.

Looks like TWRA doing a lot of the work for a job they bid out and paid for someone else to do....🤷‍♂️
In the meeting they said they were helping to make sure everything is done. My guess is they are doing the work because the company doesn't have the boats and knowledge to get these blinds to swamps like Tigrett.

Yes someone mentioned that during the presentation. The man presenting said they were involved to make sure it got done Assured everyone the company hired to do the work was on site though. Looks like all they have to do is piece it together on site.
