I've been thinking about rebarreling one of my bolt rifles to .450. Seems like a fun caliber.

No but I have a bag of new Starline brass, Hornady XTP Mag bullets and reloading dies for one. I had one in an AR rifle but never got around to reloading for it. I have saw a couple deer killed with one and they work really well on deer under 150yds.

I have one that's a MSR. I didn't like the Hornady 250 grain ammo due to the amount of meat damage, though it shot well. I use Buffalo Bore ammo loaded with the Barnes 275 grain XPB. It's good to 200 yds no problem . Son shot a buck last year with it at 165. No issues.

I have a Savage 110 scout rifle with a 2.75x Burris scope, and I shoot Winchester Deer Season XP ammo. The rifle has a muzzle brake and other than being loud is a pleasure to shoot. I agree with Dennis on meat damage, but it is a good all around round, well suited for short barreled rifles.
