I am trying to source some house logs for the log home we are building. House logs need to be 40'+ minimum 10" at the top and pretty straight with no rot.

Anybody cutting logs on their place? Anybody have a reputable logger they have worked with I should call?

Found a trucker who will haul uncut house logs and my dirt guy has a big excavator with claw to unload them. Now I just need to source the logs.

Thanks

Need 70-80 40'+long minimum 10" tops, 14" tops would be better.

Preferred species.... Oak... red/white Hickory, Northern white pine, Douglas Fir, Larch, Jack pine, ponderosa pine, tamarack, bald cypress, tulip poplar, yellow poplar, swamp chestnut oak, honey locust.
Logs need to be straight with no rot. A LITTLE wavy is ok, but no pretzels or boomerangs.

Ill pay 10% over the mills CASH no checks. I can take delivery anytime even nights or weekends when the mills are closed if the logger/trucker wants to get some extra loads in and make more runs/money for the day. If shipping is a problem, I have a guy who can truck the logs and a guy who can unload them at the build site if necessary. Just need some notice to get equipment lined up...say a week to 10 days.

Could take delivery anytime if you have a boom truck.

PM me if you have something going on or know somebody cutting.
Thanks!!!
