Haven't killed one as pretty yet.
Yeah ruger I killed my prettiest one last year still in the freezer

Let us know how you all do this morning. KY's early seasons don't start opening up until next week. Haven't gone in early season in a couple years. Not enough teal or geese to fool with and would rather save time for big duck season.

Picked the wrong spot for a rainy day, but flushed over a dozen sneaking up on some sheet water.

Was too overwhelmed trying to pick out a target and didn't mount my gun well—despite me emptying my gun, they lived to tell the tale. 😭

1st duck I ever killed was a very pretty woodie.
Forget the year, but during the regular duck season.

My uncle insisted it should be mounted,
and that was part of my Christmas present that childhood year.

It was "Mounted by John Reid"
I think he retired before you killed your 1st duck?

Heck, he retired before I killed my first DEER I believe LOL
He mounted a bunch of stuff I know that.
