Any public land with squrrils?

Trying to find anywhere near smith county to take my son hunting.

I'm pretty sure there's squirrels on every piece of woods in the state... I think you're near old hickory and Cordell Hull wma, should be a couple places to access from the road.

Tried cordell hull a couple of times , atleast the spot I've been too hav't even got a shot off.

The best squirrel hunting is before 9 am this time of year. If you went out after that I could see where you would see less squirrels.

yep, find some hickory, oak, beech and/or walnuts and go right at daylight
