Vol Safety Brandon Davis was shot in the leg at a club in Knoxville.

Word is it's a non life threatening injury, good for that.

Per Davis he was sitting there, minding his own business when he heard a pop type sound and felt a pain in his leg.

One person there told police Davis shot himself in the leg. Davis, along with his father, responded saying he had never handled a gun in his life.

You can bet there will be more on this later.

The "new information" on the story is that Knoxville police suspect former Tennessee Volunteers football player Brandon Davis was accidentally shot by a current member of the team a year ago, after initially believing he had shot himself. Supposedly , Trevon Flowers shot him.
