Another One For The Books

[Bad habit]

Well it looks like another season is behind us unless you are Juvi hunting this weekend. I have mixed feeling about the season which was marred by a trespassor that really screwed us up. Not to be let down, though, several deer were harvested. A personal best was my largest deer ever- a 15 1/4 inch 7 point- I got with my Super Redhawk using my cast bullets. Having never put one down on a snowy day I managed 2 with one shot this afternoon in the snow. A first for me. Looks like I have enough meat to process now. I hope everybody had a good season.

Congratulations on the buck using your Redhawk and your own cast bullets. That IS an accomplishment! I'd love to do the same some day but so far have only used cast in a rifle on deer. Would like to hear the story of the two deer with one shot.
