Another day of bird watching

Checked out a new spot, started out stillhunting to slowly scout my way through, not long before this buck just walked up to me. Had the hammer cocked just in case I had a change of heart but couldn't do it... he saw me at about 15 yards and bolted into cover and slowly walked off.

If a doe comes by before dark ima let her have it lol

Man I saw all kind of birds today. Songbirds, ducks, turkey, herons, an owl, sandhill cranes, I really was bird watching I guess.

Might have been the best hunt I'll have all year. Besides turkey of course. I had some turkey hunts that would rival it

Those deer get stupid when there's a wet doe around. If I tried that during early season I'd been busted long before they got 5 yards from me
