Ammo Throwback Prices

Oldest I have is probably a box of 32-20. I have a Smith and Wesson 32-20 that belonged to my grandfather. Have several boxes of shotgun shells from monkey wards, posted a few pics of some of those here last year, I think. Not sure how to look through my uploads on my phone.

Found this on my property while metal detecting for a ML bullet that had passed thru my buck in 2017. A guy a work with who knows about older ammo said he believed it was probably from the 20's. The significance for me is wondering who fired this round, and at what. My relatives from a century ago walking the same land that I now own and hunt, pretty cool in my eyes.

Neighbor passed , his wife gave me two boxes of “bullets “ she wanted to get out of the house . I took the shot shells to local gun shop , some they had never seen . Gave her back the $80 they sold for .
I have a use for the 22s . Going to keep them .
you have to zoom to see the 71 cents on that box of 50 .

did you fine the MZ slug/ball ? I tried that on the biggest live buck I ever shot .old homestead I guess ,,,,, all I found was nails . Never found but one smudge of blood on a bush 50-60 yds away . No buck

32-20 11.95 box of 50. No idea how old it is. Other box of 32-20 looks a bit older.

Some monkey wards shotgun shells, have to be close to if not over 40 years old. One of them was $2.

Couldn’t find a price on these shells that my wife’s Boss gave me when he retired. He just laughed when he handed two boxes to me and said, “They’re old!”

Found the buck after a 200 yard tracking session, never found the lead bullet tho.

I paid $10 for my big game stamp in the day. No price tag on this, but the tax stamp is interesting to me.
