Ammo crazy

I was in Rural King the other day and they had like 12 boxes of 7.62X39 ammo.
20 round boxes for like $6.99

I saw where someone posted they wanted some so today I went to buy some grass seed and decided I would buy my 3 box limit of it and surprise them and mail it to them.

LOL oh well, it was a good thought anyway.

Zero on the shelf today. LOL

Next time I will just buy what I find when I find it.

I was just in Walmart here in Martin Ruger and the young fellow behind the counter said they had gotten 4 cases of 9mm in last night and put on the shelf at 7 a.m. !!! Gone by 7:13 when the manager came back to the counter he said..........He did say they had some 100 count boxes of 22's that were gonna be put out in the morning but you better get there earlier and wait in line (be the first), he said it was the same guys every time.

I got two 225 round boxes of .22s at the Dickson Walmart Thursday. I'm not reselling mine. First time I've been able to find .22s.

Was in a pawns shop on the west side of Knoxville the other day and they had the bulk Federal match 22's that are normally about 16.00 or 17.00 bucks for a box of 325 at walmart for $50.00! Crazy

According to the guy behind the counter they were reselling them ! Said its ALWAYS same group of guys, he knows them by face he said. Also stated he has not been able to buy a box since the first of the year and he knows exactly when they are gonna be put out !

Most people resell them.
I see people all the time in and out of local gun shops and what nots around here. Have talked to many in the past and then see thier "ammo stash" put up for sale on armslist/gunownersclub to "help others out that can't find the ammo"

There are people waiting for the daily shipment at Wally every day. Iy never makes it to the shelf. It gets priced and sold in one movement.

they had 9 mm 100 rd FMJ at walmart in M'boro today. I got A box. the guy in front of me had his 3 box limit. there were like 10 boxes left, and the guy had just put them out. I figured they'd be gone within 30 minutes of me leaving.

If I was that manager I would switch it up, and not keep putting them out at the same time every day.

That is an excellent idea, but I think the manager at our local WM would sull up and not take kindly to being told how to do it. :whistle:

Yes I ain't buying either just posting. That's still more than twice what they should cost, but the cheapest I have seen in a while. The cheapest I can find right now is 20 cents/round...and the most expensive is a whopping 50 cents/round!

Check gun broker. Been seeing 70 to 80 for a brick + shipping. A local gun shop I frequent said they had a bunch of guys buying from walmart and others and brining to them to sell on gun broker. Its ridiculous. I did find some federal hollow points the other day for 4.99 for 50. Best I've seen since the spike. they sold 5 bricks in less than 20 min. I'm sure ths rest sold as soon as I left.
