Harvested some berries today, deer are suppposed to eat the leaves, quail and turkeys eat the berries. Im excited about starting several shrubs, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience drying the berries and starting the seeds.

I have never seen where deer have eaten the leaves, but they are supposed to eat the berries. I would put the seed in a moist paper towel and keep them in the refrigerator until spring.

I had thought they would, I know people eat the berries. I have never seen a deer pass on any sweet fruit.
