As far as Skill level, that can play the same way for many diffrent lures. Say a guy with great deep cranking skills is competing with guys that are not as skilled, and the fish are on that type of bait, his skill with the deep crank will show. Same goes for a flipping bite, top water and other ways. When the super fluke first came out, I was fishing with a guy who had fished it several times. The fish were on it, I put one on, stood side by side with him in the front of the boat. He had 5 fish over 17 lbs, I didn't have a bite on it. Lucky for me, we were fishing as a team.
