Access to Paint Rock Ferry TWRA lands

The only road to enter the largest area is a private road that has been gated. I could not find any other roads and the lake access is unsuitable because of water depth. Is there any plans to open up this archery only area?? Thanks

Went up there by boat two years ago and water was so low I could barely get up there. I turned around.

I know they are fairly responsive to questions on their Facebook page as well. It takes a few days sometimes, but I usually get a response back. Could take a little longer right now with all the hullabaloo about the duck blind drawing proposals.
