A note from Haley.
Hello ladies and gentleman and everyone who contributed to my go fund me. My name is Haley and I am the 21 year old who is trying to still fight cervical cancer as her doctor is telling her she doesn't have more than 2 years to live. So in high spirits let me tell you a little about what's been going on. In October of 2019 I was really sick and couldn't figure out why when I went to the er they did a CT scan and found a mass on my cervix. In December of that same year I met my oncology team and they gave me the diagnosis of cervical cancer stage 2b.

Now my family has some medical background already but me being me I looked up everything there was about this awful cruel disease I had in my body. Nobody in my family biologically had this disease so we had absolutely no idea what we were walking into. Me a freshman at Carson Newman university having to give up all my scholarships and placements just to fight this off because I had seen my 70 something great grandmother fight off breast cancer I was like how hard can this really be little did I know the pain I was about to be in. After finding out the news obviously I had to tell my best friend who had been by my side since kindergarten about what was going on and we cried but my favorite memory of that night was giving my tumor a name which then became a regular process with each tumor my dr found. ( I'm sorry if these are your name it's just a joke please don't be mad) So there's; 1 Roberto ( cervix ) 2 Samuel ( liver ) 3 trio ( lymph nodes ) 4 RJ - Roberto junior ( the outside of my ****** ). After every treatment me and my oncologist talked about came a new regiment because the last one just made the demon babies grow.

I know to much information for some people but some people want this information. With every passing year came a new nurse friend or 4 lol and everyone learning my name. As COVID came around I was extremely careful but still working up until I couldn't work anymore which was this year sadly, but as COVID went and passed throughout my family I never got it until after I had quit working and was fully staying at home with my family and struggling severely with the pain pulsing throughout my body. I was hospitalized for COVID and they started me on so many different meds and drips and pumps to help control my pain levels and I finally went home after a week of torture and boredom because the only nurse who I made friends with worked nights only twice since I was there lol and I missed her. I went home on a pain pill regiment that so far has seemed to be working fingers crossed it doesn't stop.

On September 6th of this year my new chemotherapy, Tivdak, made me cause a 10mm wide by 6mm high lesion on the outside membrane of my eyeball. No it didn't hurt but it was weird seeing this flap flip up every so often if you blinked the wrong way lol 😂 but anyways it stopped my treatment and set it on hold until my eyes got better my eyes didn't get better until September 29th and I got the okay to do chemo on October 3rd. Well while we were on a brief pause with chemo my oncologist said let's get a PET Scan it will give a better picture of active tumors and any spreading.

So on September19th I went for my scan and left feeling good about everything. I received a phone call from my oncologist that following Wednesday or Thursday going over my results. He had told me the best news I had received since doing treatments, he said my liver tumor was dead and the rest of my tumors were shrinking and I cried for a week happy tears telling everyone I could that I was finally getting better I bought a cake and had them write cancer slayer on it so I could give it to my nana as a surprise way of telling her.

Then on October 3rd my labs came back trash and my doctor told me that if I continued treatment it would be possibly anywhere from 2-5years before my time was up because my disease had progressed to where it was incurable. Me and my mom were shocked and our hearts shattered. Since I couldn't receive chemo he said I needed to do some boosting before I could. So the Monday we were told everything I received fluids to boost up my electrolytes magnesium and potassium and one of my favorite nurses love him to death painted my nails that day to cheer me up. Side note any names that aren't related to me or I know wouldn't care if they were mentioned are staying anonymous. Anyways so Monday I got fluids then Tuesday I needed to get my 20th blood transfusion then Friday I am getting tivdak finally.

Anyways that's my story and everyone is all caught up on everything. Thank you to all who donated and are helping with everything on my bucket list and who knows I don't know if im done filling out my list but I promise I will update and post pictures as much as I can.

We have had so many wonderful offers today and so many generous people. We have been able to book Haley a weeks stay at a cabin for Christmas. Miss Lindsey Sharpe was ever so gracious. We now have a camera to take pictures with on all our journeys. Thanks to Miss Madison Nelson. We have a mining trip schedule to North Carolina for rubies and sapphires coming up to that is being sponsored by a wonderful gentleman(not sure if he wants to me named). We have a painting with a twist session in the works without a definite date yet as well as the trip to the aquarium restaurant in Nashville at the end of November. So many more things are in the works and I will keep everyone posted. Thank you all so much we appreciate everything.

I don't imagine anyone here can give you the answer you seek. I cannot imagine what you are going through. My grandparents had to do it with my mom. Can't imagine what they went through.

Prayers for you and your family.

Prayers continue. Don't want to give you any false hope but that is what faith is HOPE . I'm trying to do this by memory so here goes, I believe it's the 11th chapter of Hebrews very first verse " Faith is the substance of things hoped for , evidence of things not seen " . Also trying to remember a story which I was told it was true... little long so please bear with me ....

There was this lady who's husband was a pastor at a pretty big church . She took care of herself by her eating habits and going to the doctor regularly. She also went to a Christian doctor who often would call her to come to the office to pray for other patients who had serious illnesses. Once on one of her annual physical visits her doctor called her afterwards to come back to the doctors office immediately. Thinking the doctor wanted her to come in to pray for some other patient she diligently went to the office . Once there the doctor called her in to his office and not into a room for patients. She spoke to the doctor and said " where is the person we need to pray for " ? He told her to set down because it's your physical blood work I want to discuss. Feeling like her sugar was up or something like that she wasn't to concerned. The doctor said he wanted to take some more blood and do some other tests . She still unconcerned too much she obliged. Well the next week the doctor called her back in to tell her the results. When she went into his office she could tell something was wrong by his countenance on his face . He said I'll schedule you to a specialist to do some tests and being up front she wanted to know what's up ? He told her with tears streaming down that his tests and didn't think they were wrong indicates that you have a very aggressive type of cancer and it's in 4th stages but let's pray I'm wrong . So upon going to the specialist and taking his tests it was confirmed what her family physician said so she wanted to know what can be done . Well the doctor said I can schedule aggressive chemo but it will only gain you a few months at best and you'll be really sick. She opted to take them and pray hoping God would extend her life . She asked the doctor how much time did she have if she wasn't cured , he said possibly 7- 8 months maybe a year don't really know as this is a aggressive type . She began to really go down hill with only a couple of months into the treatment and was really sick so I think she quit taking them . Trying to shorten the story some she got to were she couldn't get up on her own and quit attending church even though her husband was the pastor. He told her he would take some time off but she insisted that he didn't and continue doing God's work plus continue to pray for her . She was rapidly losing strength and had to have help with her two daughters taking time about coming over to help their mom . One morning feeling really horrible the Lord spoke to her and said for her to go to church ! She told her husband this and he said that she didn't have enough strength to be able to go but she insisted. He said he would call his daughter over to help him get her ready . He also called the church and told the deacons to get her a pew ready and to come out to help once he got there . After carrying her to the car and pulling up to the church deacons where already there to help get her into church. They had a pew ready in the back but the lady insisted on being on the front row . She was so weak she had to lie down. Members were overjoyed that she came and the worship songs were at an all time high !! While into the worship God spoke to her and told her " you've laid long enough it's time for you to sit up " . She gathered enough strength to sit up and the songs they were singing got even louder as people were overjoyed even more . After sitting up for a few minutes God spoke to this saint once more telling her " you've sit long enough it's time to stand " ! Once more she struggled to stand but gathered enough strength to stand and the sonds even got louder . After a minute or so God spoke yet again " you've stood long enough now it's time to walk the aisle raising your arms to me " ! She began to walk the aisle rasing her hands as high as she could as she felt her body gain strength. The members were clapping and raising their arms high praising God and singing like never before !!! Once again God spoke to lady this "you've walked long enough it's time to run " !! Obeying she took off running the aisles with other members in tow singing and worshipping God like no other . God had healed this lady after a conformation from her doctor who ran more tests to be sure and he confirmed it , him being a Christian praised God for granting this lady a miracle after getting a death sentence.
Long I know but felt lead to share this true story of how God can do the impossible. Praying for a miracle for Haley !!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I can sort of relate, I guess. My wife had breast cancer, and went through all the chemo and radiation, a couple years ago. She was bald for a while. Also one of my brothers, and one of my sisters have been battling cancer for a few years. It's a cruel world. Prayers for you sir.
