Finally got up to Little River this morning, may have been the extra water from the rain, but I fished from about 8 this morning to about 1 and never even got the first nibble.
I'll be back up there soon though, I'd like to learn the river better and maybe stand a better chance.
All in all I had fun though and felt good to be on a river again.

CB, this time of the year you want to fish high(around Townsend). You will be catching mainly trout with a few smallmouth showing up. About a month until the good bite really starts. Been catching some good trout this time of the year, but they are really slow.

Yeah I started fishing around townsend and started up the river all the way to the split going to cades cove and gatlinburg.
I'll just have to fish it some more and learn it better.

Let me know when you want to go and we may be able to plan a trip. Not saying the results will be different but I do know a few holes just past the alcoa bridge that have produced a few crappie and deep holes around rockford for Sauger. :)
