Watching my 11 year old son mature into an accomplished deer hunter and outdoorsman has been the one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Saturday morning was the first time that he has actually hunted without me being right there beside him to tell him what to do. The fact that he made all of the right decisions and was able to close the deal on a respectable buck, made us both VERY proud. He began going to the woods with me when he was 4 and now, at 11 years old, this is the third 8 point he has killed. He is so far ahead of his age. Watching him blossom as a young hunter and an outdoorsman has been the most enjoyable years of my life and has given us both many memories that will last a lifetime. To God be the glory.
