finally getting the kinks worked out and the 110FCP-HS 338LM,,it hits pressure early and only gettin 2630 fps but the 300 gr bullet and 818 BC doesnt have to be goin 4000 to carry a kawhoop,,carries 1000 ft/lbs past 1400

straight up 10.75 MOA and no windage adjustments from 100 zero

some people say I need a bigger scope,,but I really like the 4.5-14 LR/T M1 Leupold scopes,,they track really well and have tons of elevation available,,with this load I should be able to make a mile with no holdovers.

I actually shot those three shots with scope on 8X

That's some good shooting.

Hey, I thought I saw something around the head and I blew the picture up to 400% and it looks like power speaks on the head of the target. Any idea how they got there??

I shot 4 times at 1,000 after work today,,light snow is good for reading wind,,I havent chronied this load and I guessed 2600 fps and was 1.5 MOA high at 1,000 first shot,,made hits on shot 2,3 and 4 on volley ball sized targets and decided it was too cold and wet to be layin on the ground,,
gonna take my 4 wheeler over and put up a target very soon and see how it goes,,I will be happy with 5 shots in ten inches but we will see how it goes,

dope for 1,000 is easy to remember though,,30 MOA up and .5 for ever one mph wind

Very impressive! ive shot 350-500yrds, but never tried for 1,000

I have had it on 17x21 steel at 1525,,

at 1,000 yards my Leupold scope still has 60 MOA of elevation,,at 1525 I still have 30 MOA,,I honestly believe it would zero at a mile with the 300 Bergers.

with a good spotter I think I could get on a 55 gallon barrel that far..

I've always had problems calculating for wind drift. How did you come up with the .5 for every 1 MPH of wind. Are there any good charts out there ??
