I do not like finding skulls. That means they are dead, no longer breeding and passing genetics, and I can no longer shoot them.
On the positive side, you have a nice rack to keep and know what the potential for that area is.
I found a maybe 140 ten pt. on my place a few years ago. It was the biggest rack I have ever found, and the biggest I have ever seen either hunting or trail cam on my place. Sad that he is dead, but happy to know that they have potential to get that big around there. It has also ruined me, haven't killed a buck in going on 4 years because I am waiting for a nice one.
