Any of y'all shooting the Barnes triple shock? I shot the last Federal fusion yesterday hunting and have a new box of these.

Local gunsmith loaded these for me said this is a proven load on average that has performed well out of several customers 300 win mags

Shot them for years. Accurate, devastating internally, doesn't leave a huge exit, but you will never find the bullet as it will be a pass thru every time in a whitetail so who knows on weight retention. 7mm08 140g. TSX

If they shoot good, they'll kill even better. Not sure I've heard many complaints on a Barnes
My granddaughter shoots the 80gr TTSX out of a 243, my daughter shoots 120gr TTSX out of a 7-08 and I shoot 140gr out of my 280AI we are very satisfied with the results.

I like them in .277. Deer, not so much. Don't expect explosive wound channels or huge exit wounds though. I like them because they stay together and don't inflict excessive meat damage to the shoulders
120 grain TTSX 7mm-08 is deadly. I love Barnes. The Vor-TX is my favorite factory ammo.

They are about all I use any more. They work great.
I've been shooting 168 TTSX in my 300 Mag. Shot several deer and they all dropped and flopped. Ranges from 45-125yds. My load is boringly accurate, I also use the 210 in my 338 RUM with similar results.

I've shot deer with TTSX bullets in several calibers including .300 win mag. It's the only bullet I've used in the last 12 years.
I've got 3 boxes on the way from Natchez Trace of Winchester Copper Impact 180gr. Hopefully before the end of deer season I can tell you how they do for another option if need be
