What worries me is the manufacturers that are getting these kinds of prices now will decide if people will pay it now they will pay it forever and it will never come down. :(

The cheapest I saw Sunday at the gun show was $58 brick. Guess I'm glad I bought the 100 rounders when they were available. Just wish I had a bit more so I would feel ok about target shooting.

The law of supply and demand will catch up eventually. I expect it to take a few years but it will sooner or later.

I had 3 or 4 thousand or maybe even more before all the run on ammo took off and luckily when I was ordering some gun(don't recall what) for somebody else mid December, I ordered another 1,000 Remington hollowpoints at something like $1.88 per 50 and complained about it. I still can't get past paying more than $1 for 50 rounds myself but I can handle up to $2 even if I don't like it. ;) These current prices are an insult to your inteligence.

They were selling bricks of cheap stuff at the gun show here in town for $80 and several buying them. $18 for a 100 round box of 22 mags.

The problem is when people find it they are buying it all up and the manufacturers cant keep up. Some stores put a limit on boxes which doesnt help because everyone can just get a family member or friend to go right behind them and buy more for them. In my opinion the manufacturer's should just quit shipping it out untill they are caught up.
