.224 Valkyrie?

224 Valkyrie, a new AR 15 caliber from Federal. Just saw this new caliber in a Midway email flier (they send about 3 per day). 90gr SMK .224 @ 2700 fps. It's a necked down 6.8 case. Interesting, though not sure I would have a real need. Thoughts?

sounds like a nice load for the 600 yard score matches they shoot with AR15`s and M1A`s that you dont have to shoot 5.56 or 7.62,,heck it would probably be better than 308 at 1,000 yards,,

Closest factory load to that is 60gr Nosler BT listed at 3300fps.

He made it impossible to say no to.. LOTS of extras, and such a nice piece. Trigger is unbelievable too
