Trey Auburn had the people in place already and wasn't a complete rebuild job like Tenn.
Malzahn had just left and came back to be head coach. Butch Jones is building his program ,his way.

Malzahn was only gone for 1 year. He took over a program that was full of players that he recruited to run his offense.

They played and recruited to the level of the conference they were in,the big east. Now Butch can recruit from a better talent pool from players that want to play in the Sec. This year will tell. Butch should win at least 9 games.
