So will the Hornbeak buck pass the 177" Typical state archery record?

I heard he was 179. But that was obviously green score. Not sure if it was gross or net or who measured him.

I haven't seen the Hornbeak buck in person, but just based on the pics,
it sure looks like a 3 1/2-yr-old or younger buck ---- amazing genetics there.

I showed the pic to the dyer county warden and he quoted the deer as being young too. But I may have mistake. His comment. He may have been talking a about the hunter also

Doubt he was talking about the hunter.

I'd love to examine this buck's jawbones (both sides).
Hopefully, someone in the Region 1 office will see them.

Just based on these pics,
I don't think so.

Do hope we get to see an official scoresheet on him (the buck, not the hunter :tu: )
and an official age estimate.

Yes, it just recently was publicly posted on Facebook but unknown exactly it was killed, someone said Dyer Co.
