Check this out...a first for me and my cousin...I hooked this shark and gave it to my cousin to reel in, I knew it was probalby a shark but never knew we would pull this in...It took just over and hour to get it to come to surface and when it did we were both shocked to see a nurse shark...Freakin awesome...Here is a video I put together to show you all...Enjoy cause it was fun for us...

IF you can scare up some live mullet somewhere, free line them behind the boat under that bridge.

Tarpon candy. Pinfish work too but mullet are preferred.

Watch out for "ole Moe" the 14' hammer head who likes to hang around and eat 100lb tarpon for fun.

Oh almost forgot. IF the calico crabs are running ( a bit early in the year right now) They are KILLER tarpon bait.

Or you can pull the legs off and bottom fish with them for more of those big nurse sharks.

You allowed one shark per boat there? I didn't know if a nurse shark was legal, desirable, or just a fun event and a cut line.
We don't keep sharks...Under the bridge you can hook up with about anything this was an exception...We knew it was big so we waited it out...You fish for Tarpon by throwing out bait if you have it or chum up smaller fish and the tarpon will show...We drift craps and mullet and cut bait as well...you will hook up on sharks from time to time...Bahia Honda is known for catching a lot of different things...Last year I caught a 35lbs Permit...Thats part of the fun...You just don't know...

This was just a first for me and the biggest Eric had ever caught so we stuck it out...It was worth it...
