Slow the roll on the gus bus

I think auburn beat bama that year and bama won the national championship. The ucf dean then declared ucf national champs haha. Pretty funny stuff.

    Seed Source

Most of the imperial whitetail etc seed I've seen the innoculant has probably worn off judging by the inch of dust on the bag. Good thing about innoculant is it's super cheap.

    Does honey expire?

Fun fact, honeybees are a non native species to north america. Our native pollinators that got the job done before then are better pollinators than honeybees.

Why Women don’t get what Men do! $$$$

10 dollars an hour, 25 hours a week, 52 weeks a year is 13 thousand dollars. If it's in the field the student was planning on working in, it's experience or a leg in the door. My sister had an internship where she worked 30 hours per week 17$ per hour at an engineering firm (23,400 per year)...

Why Women don’t get what Men do! $$$$

Unpopular opinion here. College sports are a racket. Even if the kids get a full ride scholarship to play a sport, training/traveling take so much time they could get a part time job and make more money than the value of the scholarship. Which is ridiculous because the universities make a...

    New plots

Are you going to double crop it this summer or let it go to seed? Buckwheat is my favorite. I don't think it's a coincidence the stuff farmers plant to improve soil is the same stuff deer eat. Smother the weeds, fibrous roots, residual fertilizer. It's a terrific plant.

Gamey looking spots. What crop did you decide to put in?

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

I mean it works. People kill limits of bird that way all across the country. most wmas get hunted every day regardless so not many resting. Hunting the same blind is all about killing new ducks anyway. Always has been.

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

I would want to scout it out of course before I hunted but I've been duck hunting since I was 8 years old and I've always managed to find my way somehow.

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

You go in the day before if you even need to. Usually it's already done by the people who hunted before. People go scout the place the day before in daylight and may add some cane or set up somewhere different for the wind in which case you need a few boat loads. It's done this way at places...

Would you ...... buy an electric truck?

Pure electric? Definitely no. Hybrid or plugin hybrid? Absolutely. The truck gets better mileage, better torque, and the whole thing is a big generator you can use for whatever you happen to need 110 ac power for.

    Square Foot Gardening

Your lettuce yield is higher because they have a short growing span. You can reseed more after harvest. A guy near me does a salanova mix that gets carried in several grocers and he's harvesting the same bed maybe 10 times per season. That's with the aid of caterpillar tunnels of course but...

I'm not sure what you mean, if 2 boats can hunt 4 people each how is that different than an 8 man blind?

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

You can park two boats in a duck hole. In my local wma white oak it's very common. And if you take a few boat loads of bamboo you can pull between two rows of came so thick you might not even need a boat blind.

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

I said that because if you go to b lake or any of these other massively popular wmas you're going to see prodrives mounted on welded boats in the vast majority. And my post is in response to you saying that needing to have money to hunt is somehow a bad thing. Most hobbies cost money. People...

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

You don't need to be rich to own a boat blind. And for those that can't afford to own a boat blind it's not the responsibility of the tennessee license buyer or tax payer to build you a duck blind. If I go elk hunting out west I don't expect to be able to build a shack on public land or have...

My last post regarding the changes to the duck blind draw and tier system

I hunt in tennessee. Dont kill many ducks, 112 this season, but always have a good time. I'm happy with any changes in the wmas that make them to where I might actually get to hunt one. I've been 1 time and decided I'd had enough then and there. I've heard countless horror stories of duckblind...

    Hats off to one commissioner

Im not in a natural resting or feeding area. Ducks generally like to land in tiny pockets in the buttonbush/cypress swamp i hunt. I like most hunters am in a larger hole. In my experience most giant decoy spreads with 14 spinning wings and 4 guys hyperventilating into a single reed arent working...

    Hats off to one commissioner

Late season, we have to remove decoys from the spread so we can keep killing ducks.
