North Georgia Buck

Since our season ended, I decided to head to a 7 acre property I have to hunt just across the state line. Spot is great knocking down some doe in early season and even better turkey hunting. Got this buck on camera in mid December and he was always at the 1-5 am window. I told my boys he is to old and smart to come out into the field in the daylight, especially since rifle starts in mid October. I decided to hunt Wednesday evening in hopes of killing a yote and to get one more hunt in. At 550 I heard some woodies flying near the creek and I was trying to spot them when I looked to the far side of field and there he was with a doe. Knew he was a shooter, but did not know it was him till I saw him on the ground. He is my biggest buck to date, main frame 10 with two kickers. Scored at 139. Just goes to show that you never know when one will be with a hot doe in late season. First deer Ive seen in that field in 4 hunts. Here's to 2021!!

The old focus has hauled many of deer out of the woods. Gets lots of laughs but its the best hunting vehicle i have had. 33 mpg and I can put it in a rabbit trail and not care lol. My coworkers love to comment on the blood of the back bumper. Its hauled out 5 bucks this year. 2 8s, 10, 11, and this 12.

Congrats....really nice buck. On New Years Day many years ago a friend and I hiked to Abraham Falls. You have to drive through Cades Cove to get to the trail head. I have never, in my life seen so many huge bucks chasing does. On our drive out several hours later...they were still chasing...hot pursuit...on Jan 1

had a friend at work put A/T tires on his Chevy sonic just to get it back in some places
