Before this season I had never been drawn for a blind. They say all good things must come to an end, but apparently not this year. Another Unsuccessful draw.

I would like to see in person draws with 4-8 person tickets in the barrel. I would also like to see the ticket pulled on a screen. Seems like the same folks got called up pretty often

Just wait and see all the folks claiming crops were sabotaged by another blind in the field. Crops being manipulated to be deemed baiting and blinds shut down.

Keeps getting worse every year. Weather, liberal limits, people not willing to work ducks properly and instead shoot them at 60-70 yards, heavily pressured public lands, expansion of the refuge system (including private refuges for the purpose of hunting), the practice of using the loudest...

Not a bad site. But if others are around be ready for them to call ducks working you until they hit the water.

A good south wind and I'm fine with A1, other then that not really.

Nope I was unfortunate to miss those days of A2 when I had the opportunities to hunt it but worked some good bunches into A4. I know A2 is a great place as well.

Awesome spot to be when ducks are there. It has a better view than A2 in my opinion.

Yep, I've seen huge chunks of ice break loose on reelfoot and take to floating off. How it didn't rip blinds down I have no idea.

I was just making the point that it is going to be nasty and dangerous out. I have gear (not Sitka) that can handle the cold but any exposed skin gets damaged quick in the temps that are forecasted. And as mentioned about boats, when it is this cold and wind blowing ice build up on a boat can...

None of that in my closet.

Its looking like this front means business with the forcasted temps. The wind speed and wind chill that I've seen projected are looking dangerous to be outside. Cold exposure is serious stuff.

We were lucky enough to get a spot this time.
