In the language of the law does it specify what number shot can be used. If not, then can a slug be used?

So if I kill a Jake and then I go hunt again and kill a Tom that has a complete fan or half inch long spur but only has a 4 inch beard it is still considered a mature Tom. Is that correct?

The way I read the description of a adult male turkey is "One of the following." So, if it has a full fan but no beard he would still be legal to shoot. Am I reading that wrong?

I've never caught a pair of turkeys breeding before on my camera. This is a first for me.

After 2 years of use the mos plate screw sheared off in my slide. I'd heard not to use the oem plate and screws to mount the dot sight on. I guess the recoil over a couple years did it. Anyway, it's at the gunsmith to get drilled out and extracted. Lesson learned, I'll buy a C&H plate and screws...
