    3 bird limit???

In my hypothetical situation what if the dominant gobbler gets killed one month before breeding starts by a predator, who then does the breeding?

    3 bird limit???

A flock of 15 hens and three gobblers exist in a pocket more than 5 miles from the next pocket of turkeys. One of the gobblers is dominant. Which turkey breeds the 15 hens?

How do you know a gobbler has no interest?

    3 bird limit???

Pretty straight forward, more peckers means more peckers.

    3 bird limit???

Then more gobblers would mean more poults in that situation?

    3 bird limit???

I’d say you are correct in that scenario. I live in the extreme country and don’t see those scenarios. Reckon there are ever hens that don’t get bred in what I would call “normal” hunting conditions?

I want to preface my next statement by saying I love turkey hunting the most but the Twra needs to shut season down for at least two years. Not the popular decision but the best way to fix continued...

Politics even in our deer hunting world

I killed a 10 point and had it scored. Wasn’t happy with the scorer. It grossed 171.5 but he scored it as a 9 point with an abnormal point that was 10” long. After that deduction along with asymmetrical deductions it went in the books at like 153”. I never saw the deer as a 9 point nor did...

    Post season scouting

They weren’t bedding, just tracks, lots of tracks

    Post season scouting

Been out in the snow trying to put the pieces together. I noticed tracks under just about every cedar tree. Never saw deer eat from a cedar tree. I didn’t notice any of the small, blue berry-like fruit that you sometimes see on cedars.

    Trespassing and poaching

Yep and most people will just pay the fine instead of hiring legal help.

Wayne county GW issues citations posted or not. He specifically told me it does not have to be posted. Brandon Taylor is his name.
